Color Photography Class

I had fun doing this assignment! I wanted to share it with you because they turned out really beautiful! At least, that's my opinion. My assignment was about color lights. I had to submit three images. I used the same subject, so you can notice the different of lighting. First image was indoors and illuminated entirely by window light and half C.T. Orange gel light as a secundary light. I corrected one light by customizing the WB to Tungsten light, so it matches the other.

 

The second one was at my studio and illuminated by red  gel light and full plus green light. I've used Daylight White Balance, and because of that the top part of the sculpture looks yellow instead green. I placed the red color light on the bottom of the sculpture and the green color light pointing to the first face. I think the blend of the two colors works pretty well on the subject.

The third one was outdoors, using full and half C.T.Orange gel light 30 minutes after the sun had set. The goal was to bathe the object in orange/yellow light and contrast this against the blue of the evening sky. Which it works pretty well!!!
